<p>Simon and Morgan have also listed a development site in <a href="http://www.simonlim.ca/current-listings/1177-marine-drive-north-vancouver/">North Vancouver on Marine Drive</a>. Make sure to check that one out if you are in the market for a large development property in a major commercial corridor in North Vancouver.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I read a very interesting article from the <a href="http://www.homes101.net/news/n4741">Homes101 Website</a> this morning&#8230; this article touches on many of the aspects of Internet Marketing and communication that Apartment Owners in particular should be aware of. The power of the internet is no longer something that can be ignored, and should be harnessed by Apartment Owners and Managers. Additionally, landlords need to be aware that complaints and statements from current and past tenants can tarnish the image of your building. This may be important as well when considering the purchase of a prospective property.</p>
<p>There are many different advertising avenues that can be taken. The most obvious of which is <a href="http://www.craigslist.org">Craigslist</a>, but the list goes on. Craigslist is most useful when your property is located in a large urban area. In addition to Craigslist and <a href="http://www.rentbc.com/">other classifieds services</a>, opening a website may also be cost-effective for landlords that have larger multi-family buildings. This allows you to showcase your property on the internet with numerous photos and descriptions of amenities.</p>
<p><strong>Some things to watch out for:</strong><br />
Negative posts and comments. There are numerous real estate and rental message boards and blogs out there where people complain about the management or condition of a property, and quite often these can be easily found. With use of the internet getting more and more common each day, all of these factors become more important each day. There is even a <a href="http://bedbugregistry.com/">bedbugs site</a> that lists all apartment buildings and floors where tenants have reported bedbug infestations.</p>
<p>The internet is a place where you can market your apartment building cost-effectively and has substantial reach, but beware that the avenues for complaint are much more transparent to prospective renters.</p>
